Olivia "Liv" Moore is the protagonist of the CW television series iZombie, based on the DC Comics comic book series of the same name.
Played by actress Rose McIver, Liv begins the series as a bright, ambitious medical resident. Her life takes a dramatic turn when she attends a boat party and is turned into a zombie.
To cope with her new existence and the need to consume brains to maintain her humanity and cognitive abilities, Liv takes a job at the King County morgue. There, she can secretly access the brains she needs.
A unique side effect of Liv's zombism is that she inherits fragments of memories and personality traits from the brains she consumes. This ability leads her to partner with Detective Clive Babineaux (Malcolm Goodwin) to solve crimes, pretending to be a psychic. Her brain-induced visions provide crucial clues in their investigations.
Over the course of the series, Liv navigates the challenges of being a zombie while helping solve crimes and protecting Seattle from other threats related to the growing zombie population.
